Help Ayoub Get the Surgery He Needs

A sudden accident cut off his income — and urgent surgery is waiting.

Ayoub is a young Yemeni man living in Malaysia. While working as a motorcycle delivery rider, he was involved in a road accident that left him with multiple fractures in his leg and both hands. He can no longer work or support his family.

Latest update

Alhamdulillah — the operations are done

3 September 2026

Alhamdulillah, yesterday Ayoub underwent three surgical operations, which ran from midnight until around 3:00 a.m.

Today he was visited by Dr Ali Saleh, Chief Executive Officer of Altawasul Alinsani Malaysia, who came to check on him and stand by him at this stage. We ask Allah to complete his recovery and restore his health.

But Ayoub’s treatment journey is not over yet

The hospital has advised him to stay 3 to 4 days after the operations for observation and recovery. He will then need medical follow-ups, physiotherapy and rehabilitation — including learning to walk again.

Please don’t stop supporting Ayoub — he has come through the surgery, but he still needs us. The campaign continues until the cost of his treatment and the recovery stages ahead are covered.

The story behind the campaign

What happened to Ayoub?

Ayoub never expected an ordinary working day to become the start of a long journey of pain and treatment.

He worked freelance, delivering food and orders for a number of restaurants in Malaysia on his motorcycle. After completing a delivery in the Cyberjaya area, he was involved in an accident on the road.

Ayoub does not remember the moments before the crash, or how it happened. All he remembers afterwards is waking up in hospital with multiple fractures, unable to return to work.

The medical case

Multiple injuries requiring surgery

According to the medical memo issued by Hospital Putrajaya, Ayoub is admitted under the care of the orthopaedic department, with:

  • An open fracture of both bones of the left leg.
  • A fracture of the right wrist.
  • Fractures of the fourth and fifth metacarpals of the left hand.

In the first stage, Ayoub underwent a procedure to clean the leg injury and stabilise it temporarily, and on Wednesday, 2 September 2026 he underwent three further operations to treat the fractures. What remains ahead of him now is recovery and rehabilitation. Read the latest update

Estimated cost

RM15,000 – RM20,000

This figure does not include medical implants, per the medical memo. RM20,000 has therefore been set as the campaign’s first goal, and any update to the actual cost will be published openly.

The impact on his livelihood

The accident did not only injure his body — it cut off his income

A modest, irregular income

His irregular monthly income was usually between RM1,500 and RM2,000, and he worked every day to support his family.

Income stopped completely

Today his income has stopped completely because of the injuries to his leg and hands, and he is in a hospital bed facing a treatment cost far beyond his means.

Urgent appeal

Time is short, but together we can make a difference

Before the accident, Ayoub worked to support his family. Today he needs people to stand with him so that he can have his operation and begin the road to recovery.

Any amount, however small, can make a difference. And if you are not able to give, sharing this campaign and passing it on to others is a real contribution in itself.
