Help Yemen campaign: Young Yemenis contribute in helping families affected by floods in Malaysia
As part of its relief programs, Altawasul Development Foundation, in cooperation with Help Yemen Campaign, have set up an initiative to help those affected by floods in Malaysia in Taman Sri Nading, Hulu Langat whose homes were attacked by torrents filled with mud, which have damaged and destroyed furniture and property, and led to the displacement of the residents.
The members of the Yemeni Youth Club, which is supervised by the Foundation, were the backbone for the success of the initiative on Thursday 30/12/2021 – 26/5/1443 AH. They worked diligently and actively to clean the houses of some Malaysian families affected by the remnants of the torrents, and the most serious of which was the blockage of rainwater drainage surrounding the houses.
The Foundation delivers its warm thanks to The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) for its support to the initiative by suppling the necessary cleaning equipment. Altawasul foundation has worked to provide all volunteers’ needs and manage the cleaning process in general. This fraternal initiative comes within the intent of the foundation to appreciate the efforts of the Malaysian people who are doing their best to stand side by side with the Yemenis in the ordeal they are going through, and they have made great relief contributions to the relief of Yemenis affected by the war.
